After the 2012 season, RABOBANK will stop sponsoring the professional team.

Due to persistent doping confessions from former Rabobank riders, Rabobank decides to stop.

The contract therefore states that RABOBANK would stop immediately in the event of doping use.

This is indeed what they do after the 2012 season; because they still have a contract with the team, it continues in 2013 under the name BLANCO until a new sponsor is found. Just before the 2013 Tour de France, BELKIN is found as the new sponsor.

Together with the KNWU, RABOBANK decides to continue with the Continental/Development team from 2013 onwards.
